How should I serve my cake?
Always, always, always at room temperature! (Unless otherwise specified, in very rare instances). When you pick up your cake, it will be chilled. Plan to keep it in the refrigerator until 2-4 hours before you serve (or longer for larger cakes).
Should I refrigerate my cake?
We recommend refrigerating your cake overnight, whether it’s still whole or in leftover pieces (in which case, wrap with plastic wrap). However, be sure to give it at least one hour on the counter to warm up before serving.
How soon can I get a cake?
Order ASAP! We tend to book up 2-3 weeks in advance at all times (sometimes more during peak season). Please visit our cake order form to see our available order dates. If you do not see a date listed, it is not available.
Need a cake NOW? Call or visit the bakery to learn about our available grab & go cakes.
We try to always have a few “grab & go” cakes available for purchase. Sizes & flavors are dependent on what we are already making for prior cake orders; we do not operate on a daily or weekly flavor schedule. Grab & go cakes are treated on a first come, first served basis. Please call the bakery the day before or the day that you need a cake. If one suits your need, we can reserve it for you.
do you have pre-made cakes available for walk-in purchasing?
Yes! But, please be aware that the smaller the cake, the fewer characters will fit. Plan accordingly.
Can you write on cakes?
We can make some of our cakes vegan or gluten-free, but both allergies cannot be accommodated in one cake. Please make a note of your required allergies or dietary restrictions in the allergy portion of the cake order form. We will do our best to accommodate.
do you offer vegan & gluten-free cakes?
Yes! Please visit this page to peruse some of our regular non-cake offerings. Please note that we cannot accept large “catering” type orders without extended notice, and accommodation will depend on prior availability.
Can I order other desserts or pastries?
Not necessarily. Our cake & non-cake cake order forms are intended for standard occasions & gatherings, not large parties. We will accommodate as many of your requests as possible based on our prior bookings and availability. We appreciate your understanding when we cannot accommodate extra large orders.
I see a date available. Can i order as much as i want for that day?
Yes! We offer 2-3 cakes by the slice daily. Flavors rotate. Please call the bakery to find out today’s flavors.
